Sewing Terms Starting with Letter B

Backstitch or Backtack

Definition 'Bias tape' has another name: Bias binding. This is fabric strip that is cuted on the bias or cross-grain at 45 degrees to the length of vertical or horisontal edges of fabric. Strips that were cut in such way wil be fit well along the curves lines such as neckline a dress, armholes etc.

Blind hem stitch
